Dingy, cloudy, brown color with a big off-white fluffy head the hangs around forever and eventually leaves a splotchy lacing effect.
Piney, metallic hops in the nose. Fruity and caramel malts.
I am kind of disappointed with this one. Oddly metallic hops are here in the taste like in the nose. Piney and green hops as well. Malts in the middle are mostly caramel. There I some fruit in the form of raisiny kind of way.
Tingly carbonation. Wet, medium body. A bit of alcohol warmth.
As I said I am disappointed in this one. I've had a few Midwest IPAs / DIPAs that have this look and taste; Dark Horse Crooked Tree comes to mind as well as Voodoo Four Seasons. Odd to me, all of them.
