4.5/5 Pours outa nice dark reddish-brown with a three-finger,white head with nice retention.
4.5/5 Smell is really nice vanilla, sweet dark belgian candy sugars, a little booze that mixes in so well it's supposed to be there because it smells REALLY nice, and a little brett.
5/5 Taste is some nice vanilla, a little brett, dark belgian sugars, and not a hint of booze. An Amazingly nice beer!!!
4/5 Moutfeel is perfect for the style. Nice and thick. This is the best Quad I've tasted in a long time. I would go as far as to say I like it more than any Belgian Quad I have tasted except possibly BA LaTrappe Quad. They are both different animals but they are both equally amazing. Get a few of these to age. Funny that I just noticed that it said aged in the barrels with cherries. I don't think I taste the cherries. Possibly what I think is brett might be a weird cherry tasted imparted. Probably cherries now that I think of it but tasted like a real light brett.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle into an oversized wine glass. Head starts out as fizzy on the initial pour, but quickly settles into a large fluffy tan head. Deep amber-brown body.
Some cherry and a lot of bourbon in the nose, with typical quad notes lurking in the background. Definitely some alcohol present in the nose as well.
Tastes wonderful and exactly how you would expect. Definitely a quad backbone with bourbon and cherry vanilla floating on top. Some pepperiness, probably from the higher ABV.
Mouth seems a pinch thin, but swirling in the glass helps.
A really great beer, enjoying the last night in our current house. Lots of memories here, and this beer will be one of them.
