Had this at the saucer in austin tonight.
Poured in to a 22oz glass (happy hour!)
Was a nice cloudy looking IPA, the nose was cirusy, piney, and a hint of malts.
The taste was a slight bite on the tip of the tongue that mellowed out as it journeyed down the palate. This is a very well made IPA and pretty damn smooth. Reminds me alot of masala mama with a tad more bite to it/bittering going on.
I could drink this all damn night well actually thats what I did. several 22 ouncers later I find myself drinking water because it snuck up on me.
Be caustious when drinking this beer its that damn good and sessionable

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass.
APPEARANCE: pours hazy, yellow/amber, two finger head with good retention that eventually dissipated to a thin unbroken layer of small off-white bubbles that remained throughout, lighter carbonation but appropriate for the style, significant lacing.
SMELL: piney resin, citrus, flowers, biscuit.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet, biscuits and then a piney hop blast that lingers nicely, not too overpowering but pleasantly hoppy.
PALATE: lighter carbonation, creamy and chewy, medium body.
OVERALL: I have not had a beer yet from this brewer that I did not enjoy, this is a very good IPA that is a little different than most because it is bottle conditioned and I think that adds to the taste, I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys the IPA style.

Bottle brought back from Maryland by my girlfriend.
Pours a bright but rusty looking orange, opaque near the top of glass, but very clear and much lighter orange near the bottom. A one inch head forms, and descends quickly to an oily film, leaving a little bit of lacing.
Smells fairly bitter and dank, a little bit of citrus and a lot of pine.
The taste is similar. This is best by 8/20/13, but I'm fairly certain Boulevard dates their IPAs at a 9 month lifespan, so this is old. It's kept hop flavor fairly well, but it seems to have devolved into a non-complex bitterfest. Lots of pine, and grapefruit rind, with apparent juicy fruit flavor sort of faded away.
Medium bodied, a bit thicker than I'd expect from a single IPA. Very bitter, but still quite drinkable, with a medium amount of carbonation.
Not bad, but would like to try this one fresh.
