Comes out of the bottle a milky golden yellow. After a swirl and another pour, the haze starts to form in the glass giving it a dark wit look to it. The head is bright and white, and 100% IPA with its craterous look. It falls on the sides leaving a peak in the middle and a thick, sticky lace on the glass.
It's citrus like you'd expect, but it's got a pineapple smell that sets this beer apart. Faint pine in the background with some bready notes as well.
Tastes like it smells, and again, the pineapple flavors make it distinct. A bit more pine on the tongue with a leathery taste to it.
Acidic, citric, bitter, earthy. Resiny pine, kind of a sticky bitter finish.
Overall, a really drinkable beer. Has good, albeit unusual flavors. Goes down easy. Could use more alcohol, but extremely smooth for an IPA.
