Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

Appearance: Pours a clear, moderate orange color with a very small white head. SRM of 13. (3.50)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of earthy and grassy notes. Tea and flower-like hops. (3.75)
Flavor: Moderate flavors upfront of earthy and grassy flavors. Hints of grapefruit citrus. Then flower and tea flavors before a smooth earthy caramel malt finish with a flowery bitterness off the end. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Low carbonation. Finish is smooth and tea-like with a flowery bitterness too. (3.50)
Overall: Very English flavors here. Grapefruit, flower, tea, and caramel. The body is slightly under carbonated and could use a slightly larger malt body in my opinion. Nonetheless, this one is very enjoyable and a nice take from Boulevard on some English hop flavors. (Final Rating:

Amber color with a short foamy head. Smells like a green smoothie with a quarter of a shot of vodka. Honestly, the taste is pretty weak, yet unique. Has a grassy flavor to it. You can taste the spice from the hops. It is refreshing, probably a good summer beer. Mild biterness. Not a lot of after taste. Taste like grass clippings.

Shared 355 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. No ABV mentioned on the label. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of American hops, notes of spruce, citrus and tropical fruits. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, with the same elements as the aroma, but is never too bitter. Just enough malts to make the beer feel tolerably balanced. Very likeable.

Poured from a 12oz Bottle: Poured a sort of amber color with a 2.5-3 finger head. Decent carbonation, and head retention. The aroma is definitely grassy/hop forward with a hint of rye on the back. Overall a tasty brew.

Poured from a bottle into a Nonic.
Pours nearly crystal clear medium-gold. Excellent head. Better lacing.
Citrus, grass, and floral hop aromas. Mild tropical fruit aromas.
The brew is fairly malty at the outset. but solid citrus flavors arrive to bring it into a second act of grass, grapefruit, and chive. The finish is fairly herbal and grassy as well.
In true Boulevard fashion, the brew is extremely drinkable. Medium bodied, well-carbonated and drying at the finish.
A solid IPA. Very sessionable.

Lightly hazed, bright amber appearance with a large, off white head and good lacing. Resinous hop aroma with citrus in the background. Role reversal for the taste; citrus flavors are more prominent with a subtle sweetness beneath the surface. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, carbonation is decent and the lingering aftertaste is dry and bitter.

"Best by 8/19/15"; drank 4/12/15 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque orange appearance.
HUGE off-white head (careful pouring!); a curtain of tree-rung lace.
Rye & blood orange notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Rye, blood orange & faint cream flavors up front; a sharply carbonated finish. Hints of booze heat emerged as this warmed.
An odd, fairly unpleasant mix here; I'm not looking forward to another.
