Notes/Commercial Description:
Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

M - slick medium body, low carbonation

O - a mediocre IPA; worth a try at least

Given by a friend who got the Boulevard mix pack but wasn't a fan of IPAs

A-Cloudy orange, some carbonation, two finger head that doesn't last long.

S-Citrus hops, orange, some grass as well.

T-Lots of citrus and floral notes, mild bitterness. Good balanced.

M-Medium bodied, some carbonation, could have used slightly more.

O-A nice, easy drinking IPA, however there are much better IPAs out there.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium golden yellow in color with some hints of orange/copper when held up to the light and some very light amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a huge three finger tall dense off-white head that reduces to a huge condensed cap in the center (about 1 and 1/2 fingers tall) and only about 50% of the cap around the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate amounts of caramel malts with a little sweetness and some citrus and tropical hop aromas - there are notes of orange peel, peach, and very light amounts of pineapple.

T: The beer has a pleasant caramel malt body that has very light amounts of sweetness but the dominant flavor is hops. I detect a number of different hops flavors including orange peel/citrus, pineapple/tropical, and light amounts of pine/resin. There is only a light amount of bitterness as the beer is well balanced.

M: Lighter than medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Smooth and creamy.

O: This beer is well balanced and enjoyable - easy to drink and sessionable. I would definitely have another of these as it was a very drinkable beer.

Nifty 12 pack style six pack. Best by 12/29/12.

Orangey gold with a thin white head. Hazy. No lace or retention from my first pour but subsequent bottles left a pleasing foamy aftermath. Bad pour on me I guess.

Grassy orange and grapefruit aroma. Like peeling an orange on a riding mower. Malt doesn't contribute much.

Very bright flavors. Smooth, grass and apricot hops with some sharper grapefruit for depth. Malt acts as a sweetener more and vessel more than anything. Juicy mouthfeel, the hops come across as oily. Enough hops not to be confused with a hoppy pale but not so much as to be un-sessionable.

I typically like breadier, drier IPAs but I'm pickin' up what Boulevard is layin' down. It's not outstanding in anyway except that it's really, really good in every way...which I guess makes it outstanding.

12 ounce bottle, best before 12/29/12 etched onto the bottle.

Pours near clear, lighter amber. Large off white and loose head, that stays before going to a thicker collar and ample spotty lace.

Distinct note of cascades in the nose.

Well hopped and quite enjoyable IPA. Grapefruit hoppy notes, ample malts to provide some balance. Some lime soaked dryness in the finish. Nicely done...

Boulevard is on my short wish list of breweries I'd love to see distributing in the NY/CT/NJ tri state area

This is a good simple IPA. Not overly hoppy. Not overly anything: hops, bitterness, alcohol.
The color was a pleasant middle amber.
I felt the carbonation was right on.
I got more pine than citrus, still the hoppiness as positive part of this beer. This is true to the IPA style.
I would order and drink again.
