This is a pretty good Saison, with lots of citrusy flavors. A bit more substantial than most in this style, due to higher abv, but it still drinks well. It does have a pretty fair amount of carbonation, lots of bubbles, but gets better and easier to drink as it warms in the glass. Still a tasty brew, and a beer you should try if you like Saisons.

This saison swings more toward the French style. Greater clarity than the Belgian type. Good bitterness, perhaps about 50 to 60 IBUs, with a mild Goldings nose and some more citrusy type of hop, like Columbus. Good hop complement to the more orange citrus profile of what I'm guessing is a French saison yeast, like Wyeast 3711. Sweet start and sweet finish, no tartness or barnyard funk, saved from stickiness by the high bitterness levels. Also, a bit of alcohol on the finish. Thick, long-lasting head. Generally refreshing as a strong French saison should be.
