Poured from their 12oz bottle...
Appearance - Pours a substantial foamy 3 finger head, both tight and large bubbles, body is a hazy bright yellow gold with tons of bubbles in the body, huge action, head comes down to about a finger & a half of thick bumpy cumulus. Great thick lacing.
Smell - Big belgian yeast & spice, sourdough bread, citrus zest, touch of white pepper. light pear, bubble gum.
Taste - Begins big bready yeast, bubblegum banana esters, dried apple, touch of semi-sweet citrus, coriander, white pepper. Finish is dried sourdough crusts with more white pepper and bitter dried citrus peels.
Mouthfeel - Mouthfeel is lighter side of medium, carb is on the higher side, very bright and crisp, wonderful tingly edges on the sides of the tongue, finish is dry, but a few pockets of tart & sweetness in the mouth corners.
Overall - A very good and refreshing beer. Complex and fairly well balanced. This is my first beer of this style, reminds me a bit of Duvel. A favorful beer that I would recommend.
