Pours a hazy yellow stray color with a decent sized white head, fades at a moderate rate but doesn't leave any lacing on the glass.
Smell has a nice citrus aroma, the citrus is actually quite strong, some sweet malt smooths things over from being one note.
Taste has a fruity citrus presence, active carbonation that is slightly high but just short of being off-putting, sweet malt rounds out the aftertaste before it finishes once again with a citrus punch, slight dry finish.

This saison swings more toward the French style. Greater clarity than the Belgian type. Good bitterness, perhaps about 50 to 60 IBUs, with a mild Goldings nose and some more citrusy type of hop, like Columbus. Good hop complement to the more orange citrus profile of what I'm guessing is a French saison yeast, like Wyeast 3711. Sweet start and sweet finish, no tartness or barnyard funk, saved from stickiness by the high bitterness levels. Also, a bit of alcohol on the finish. Thick, long-lasting head. Generally refreshing as a strong French saison should be.
