Poured a nice hazy gold colored body with very little visibility even though its a light colored beer. Thick and creamy 2 finger head with good retention. Smells of small hints of pint, grapefruit, and some earthyness. The fruit aromas are of strong resin. Taste? Well, delicious to say the least. Nice hoppy taste with a sweetness to even things out. Tropical fruits add a nice touch to the palate. Nice flow from start to finish. Finishes with a tangy kick. Creamy mouthfeel from start to finish.
Overall this is a very tasty beer. Wish i had purchased more then just 1. Price is not bad either for how good this is. I've seen this style of beer go for twice as much, with half the quality.

This saison swings more toward the French style. Greater clarity than the Belgian type. Good bitterness, perhaps about 50 to 60 IBUs, with a mild Goldings nose and some more citrusy type of hop, like Columbus. Good hop complement to the more orange citrus profile of what I'm guessing is a French saison yeast, like Wyeast 3711. Sweet start and sweet finish, no tartness or barnyard funk, saved from stickiness by the high bitterness levels. Also, a bit of alcohol on the finish. Thick, long-lasting head. Generally refreshing as a strong French saison should be.
