Poured into a tulip. The color is slightly hazy light straw with a white one inch head.
The aroma has some grassy hops with a touch of melon to go with the maltiness.
The taste has a lot of melony fruit with a hint of spicyness towards the finish. There is a bit of honey sweetness as well. I would like this better with a little more spicy yeast flavor or zesty hop flavor to balance out the sweetness. Still pretty darn good.
This is refreshing with full fluffy carbonation. I like this one. Will drink again.

Appearance - Very cloudy throughout the beer. Light golden yellow coloring. Pillowy inch of head formed after pouring and settling down to a very thin layer, resting on the top after a few minutes.
Smell - I smell a bit of citrus coming from the glass as well, very light malt in the background. Spring has ruined my sense of smell for a bit though so it's hard to bring out.
Taste - Bitterness coming through pretty quickly with a strong citrus presence. Smooth, sweet malt at the finish when swallowed.
Mouthfeel - Thick with carbonation as it sits in the mouth and has a dry finish that keeps me sipping again and again.
Overall - I really like how this all comes together with the bitter/sweet contrast of the hop use and malt base. I always end up drinking up drier beers pretty quickly so it's vanishing pretty quickly next to me.

A-a cloudy golden orange with two fingers worth of white head that sticks to the glass.
S-Very pleasant aroma, pale malts, light apples and pears, spices, and yeast.
T-Taste is much hoppier than the smell suggested. Pale malt, citric hops, and a slightly peppery finish. I am not getting much of the Saison yeast but the beer still tastes pretty good, but maybe more like a Belgian IPA.
M-medium mouthfeel, high carbonation, light dry finish.
Overall another above average beer from Boulevard. Not getting too much “funk” from this one but the smell is very good and the taste is very nice.

Pours a bright straw yellow with a very bright, two-finger white head. Great lacing and the head doesn't go anywhere any time soon. Aroma of lemon zest, yeast, a bit of spice and straw, didn't have a huge nose. Nice lemon rind and apple notes to start. Moves into a yeasty, grassy flavor blended with a sweet, pale bready malt. Just a hint of spice in this one on the very back end. Some slight sweet citrus, bordering on tropical hop notes hide the spice, before a touch of bitterness on the finish. A lot going on in this flavor profile, really complex. Good sweetness and hop notes for the style, also great drinkability for a saison.

PPours a slightly hazy whitish yellow with constant effervescence and a hufe frosty white head. Aroma offers some nice spice from the belgian yeast, bold lemon citrus juice, some of its rind as well, and a kiss of some bread underneath it all. Flavor mirrors the aroma quite well. I don't taste any alcohol, but I can feel the alcohol at the close of each sip/ A crisp, active mouthfeel. Overall, great saison. I only wish it was a little lower abv.

S: Classic fresh cut grass/pepper saison aroma, sweet pils, some caramelized pineapple.
L: Golden yellow, some particulates floating, white carbonated head with decent retention.
T: Semi-sweet pils malt with white pepper. Medium grassy bitterness leading to additional spiciness. Semi-dry finish with some fresh cut grassiness.
M: High carbonation, effervescent, medium bodied.
Great example of the style, great flavors and aromas that work great together. One of the better American saisons I've had.

It Produced a big pillow-like white head. the beer color is hazy honey. It had floaters.
Smell is of a farmhouse funk, honey, citrus, and spice.
Taste is about the same. Low bitter factor. Light mouth-feel,slightly dry, and high carbonation.
Very good beer! Tank 7 is a keeper.
