Full disclosure: Best by date was 1/21/13.
A grassy smell with spices intermingling with each other as well as a hint of lemon zest.
The grassy taste continues and the wheat taste gives it a bit of an earthy flavor as well. In addition, lemon is detectable through the flavors. the tastes tend to be subtle, which helps them blend rather well.
Light to medium bodied with biting carbonation. The aftertaste is fairly refreshing and dries the mouth a little bit.
I think that this is a good beer but that fact that it's five months past its best by date has probably affected the quality of this beer. Still, I'll probably pick up a stronger batch later on.

Pours a nice, hazy, straw colored body beneath the foamy, white head as lively bubbles of carbonation dance to the top. The head dissolves quickly initially, then has faint remnants of lacing that hang around for the duration.
Very nice aromas of lemon, grass, wheat, and of course a touch of herbal and/or floral hops float from the glass.
The flavor is similar to the aroma, perhaps a touch lighter on the grass and lemon and more pronounced on the wheat. The hops have the appropriate amount of subtlety, and are a nice compliment.
Lighter to medium in body with a crisp, fresh mouthfeel and a bit generous on the carbonation.
A great American Wheat Ale one may expect from the midwest. With the "American" aka hop twist, its a touch of midwest meets California.

Poured into a nonic a hazed lemony color with a fluffy one finger bones white head atop.Aromas of toasted wheat and light citric hops, the aromaes underwhelmed me a little.Anice low carbonated feel to the beer, toasted with that tinge of iron on the palate with a smack of citric hops to save the day in the finish. With a good shot of hops I could see myself driniking this on a humid summer day and being satisfied with it.
