Thank you Jim (ratedz), this along with the Deschutes Conflux No 2.
A – A nice hay gold color with a decent bright white head that has an awesome retention. Some small bubbles produce through the consumption of this phenomenal beer.
S – A lot of pine/grass, and some other nice citrus hop smells. A sweet malt must have been added because there is a sweet presence.
T – An awesome blend of hop and malt, there is some definite wheat blended into this but seems more hop forward. There is some pine and faint citrus hop flavor, and a good sweet maltiness. Some nice spice when you get to the bottom of the bottle.
D – This brew has the traditional Boulevard carbonation; this is on a lighter side but very enjoyable. This is perfectly balanced.
O – I thoroughly enjoyed this beer over the Deschutes version; the hops seemed to be more present in this version than the PNW version.
* this review is from a side by side with the Deschutes version.
