A: Very dark brown walnut color, first pour had a two inch head(!) that slowly rose to 2 1/2 inches (which overflowed from glass). Average dissipation of head over 30 secs.
S: An airy, coffee smell; not overpowering but certainly there. Imagine walking down the coffee aisle at your local grocery store with a stopped up nose; you can tell it's coffee and you're also not overwhelmed by it; pleasant toffee smell as well.
T: It's just good, solid. Can barely taste the 9.2% in this guy. Really a good sipping beer, even a little sip will produce the full on flavor. I think i taste some hazelnut too... guy at liquor store said over the course of a day they sold two (2) crates worth (approx 50-75 bottles total)
M: Minimal carbonation, longer than typical aftertaste.
O: Overall, a solid beer with a punch (flavor-wise and ABV-wise) that doesn't get old after one glass. A great partnership between The Roasterie and Boulevard Brewing! A must try!

A- pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a small creamy off-white head, short retention and no lace
S- day old dark roast coffee, slightly peppery, also picking up some smoked meat character
T- straight sidamo coffee up front followed by some smoky notes, almost a meat flavor of smoked sausage. Slightly spicy and peppery rye with a hint of oat, light hop kick on the finish with a coffee linger
M- medium body with low carbonation, slightly foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish
O- I liked the sidamo coffee flavor, the smoked meat flavors were a bit unexpected, definitely interesting for a change of pace
