Had this on numerous occassions from the bottle and tap, but this is the first chance I've had to sit down and review it. Love the entire line - Double-Wide, Single-Wide and this one.
Icy white head ringing the edge, with large pocks of bubbles clinging together. The beer glows a sunny golden, with only hints of orange when the light hits it.
Mango, passionfruit, pineapple on the nose - that's a big bowl of tropicals. An awesome first whiff.
Similar to the tongue, with those tropicals and a muted breadiness holding it all together.
Carbonated and sparkling to the tongue - completely enjoyable and highly sessionable.

12oz bottle to DFH IPA glass.
A - Pours a golden straw color, slightly hazy, a tall cream colored head takes it's time. Good lacing.
S - Spicy, dry hay, white pepper, zesty citrus, yeasty.
T - Grainy pale malts, dried corn, mineral water, grassy/piney bitterness, zesty citrus and star fruit. Finishes with dry and crisp with a nice grassy/peppery bite.
M - Aggressive spritzy carbonation, light body, dry finish.
A thirst quenching IPA that you could drink all day long.

Nice fresh session IPA, even dated... best by 4/26/14, gotta love that.
Pours a quickly rising 2 finger fizzy fluffy soapy looking head that starts to fade pretty quickly though, mild spotty lacing, semi hazy golden straw color.
Nose lots of fresh citrus, big juicy clementine and tangerine, also peach and aprocit, very juicy fruity hops, with a hint of resin and mustiness, it even has a hint of a mango papaya note. Under that is a light sweet malty base.
Taste starts with a malty outlook this time, a mild crackery blond like malt with a little sweet malt taste, but at the same time it's watery and too light for it's own good. Then hte hops kick in, a nice fair bitterness with nice blend of hops, juicy fruit again with mild citrus, more apricot like this time, with some clementine and light tangerine, na mild tropical fruit like mango papaya again and hint of bubblegum. A hint of a resin comes through towards the finish, and it dries quite a bit, gets a decent bitter kick as well with mild fruity hop flavor but a bit grassy this time too.
Mouth is lighter bod, little watery feeling, lighter but decent carb.
Overall not bad, nice hop character, great aroma, but just really light on the base beer, watery feeling, really lacking the big base to prop the hops up more than they are, otherwise it would be a great beer.
