We stopped here for a Bell's Oberon release party.
Atmosphere: This place felt nice. When we first walked in (around 6.20 pm), most of the area in the front bar was roped off. We snuggled into the bar and realized that most of the roping off was because the staff needed full access to an ice machine. Needless to say this was disconcerting when we first walked in as new customers (when we saw very few places to sit), but it was understanding when they explained the situation.
After heading to the restroom you realize that there is a lot more to this place than the main bar at the entrance.
The quality of the beers that we tried was great. We were mostly drinking extremely fresh Oberon. But we both tried a Dogfish Head 60 Minute and another Bell's beer as well. All of the beers tasted the way that they should.
The service was definately quality as well. Both bartenders were very attentive (at the front bar only - we didn't try any of the other bars) to our beer drinking needs.
The selection was nice. There were 15+ taps that varied, but were mostly quality micros. Most seemed to focus on American breweries, which I like.
We didn't try any food. I'm not sure that any is actually offered, but there was an appetizer buffet available in the back.
This is definately a spot that I will try again. There is at least one spot in my neighborhood that I like more, but I will stop here if I need a beer in this neighborhood.
