A: The beer is clear dark golden yellow to amber color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving some lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of gooseberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having some flavors of gooseberries along with notes of lime citrus and hints of biscuit malts.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The use of New Zealand hops imparts interesting aromas and flavors to this beer, especially coming from an Italian brewer. I could only imagine what this beer might taste fresh in Italy without having to be shipped across the Atlantic Ocean.
