Juicy, hazy, super sessionable for 8%. Super refreshing to drink at the pool, not a palate wrecker like a west coast ipa can be. Like drinking a fruit smoothie. And again, the juice is all from hops here. No juice, concentrate, extract, flavoring or fruit is added.
This was *not* an ugly haze either. This was *not* flat grey chicken broth or a thin turkey gravy. Darker than OJ, but this still had tropical fruit colors more reminiscent of a foamy fruit smoothie than a can of cream of mushroom soup which is where some hazy ipas can go wrong.
Carbonation is a big factor in the quality of the nose. The carbonation in this two-week-old crowler was still electrically charged and the bathtub bubbles accentuate and disperse the tropical fragrances.
The softness of the feel is most noticeable on the doubles, as it is harder to soften the body as the ABV goes up.
I haven't had Karate or Starfish yet, but of the ones i've tried, Dunley and Astro Zombie are my two favorite IPAs from Aslin.
It is time for Aslin to push the envelop with their IPAs and I'd like to see them release milkshake and orange creamsicle IPAs and get really experimental and weird. You have the attention of the people who will seek those beers out now. It is time to start brewing them up.

It smells really fruity with some dank hops in the background and some malt even further back there.
The taste is refreshing with sweet fruitiness balancing out the bitterness that follows.
It's thin and moderately carbonated with a fruity finish.
This beer is so drinkable and at 8.0 abv you could find yourself in trouble because you could have a four pack of pints one second and the next second it'd be gone. I give it a 5.2 out of 6.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head. Mild hops and tropical fruit on the nose. Taste of pine, citrus, guava. Silky smooth in feel with moderate carbonation. Reasonable New England style imperial IPA...but there’s other brews from Aslin that I prefer to this one.

Hazy yellow with a pearl white head and small amounts of lacing. Orange puree, huge mango, grapefruit, and piney hops in the nose. Taste follows the nose, juicy citrus, melon and pineapple leads in an almost sweet way, with dank, grassy, and piney hops finishing. The key characteristic of this beer is the velvet smoothness despite having noticeable hop textures, slight resin too. Refreshing

Pours a hazed golden color with a white head. Smell had tangerine ,pine sap,and citrus. Taste was tropical with citrus rind, grapefruit, mango and some pine . Has bitter and dry mouth feel with some onion. ‘Twas not a fan so much of this one as some of other offerings IPA/DIPA from them.
