Can: Poured a slightly hazy yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops undertones with some floral undertones and subtle dank notes. Taste is a nice mix of citrusy undertones with some light residual sugar notes and no bitterness. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very enjoyable IPA with good balanced and dominant hops notes.

Nothing exceptional about this grapefruit forward IPA from a nice small microbrew in Halifax. A little more bitterness than their other offerings but fondly reminds me of CA Life in the Clouds while I would say not quite as good.

On tap at the brewery, 4ox sample: Deep hazy straw color. Good lacing and legs. Flavors of pineapples, grapefruits, orange, caramel, and herbal hops. Slick and oily medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium strength finish, leafy and piney, soapy and tropical. Nicely intensified but it feels like a basic IPA. Overall good quality craft.

Review #500 coming from my favorite brewery in Nova Scotia.
It pours a peachy golden amber with a soft haze. Sitting an inch on top is a creamy bright white head. A fine sheet of lace coats the sides of the glass.
Juicy and bold peach and pineapple are rivaled by dank, piney resin, both of which are bright and fresh. Sweet ethanol is blended well into its fruity character. A dash of vanilla fluff and chewy biscuit round out the nose.
Sweeping notes of peach flesh and green pineapple are outlined by green, leafy resin. This evolves into more pine and a bit of sap as it nears the finish. Peach is a bass line from beginning to end with an underbelly of vanilla and biscuit.
Soft, prickly carbonation inundates its medium weight body. A lush creaminess makes this extra satisfying.
I have yet to have a NS IPA that rivals one coming from Unfiltered. Bold and fruit forward with plenty of resiny goodness to back it up. Greg Nash, you're an animal.

Excellent stuff, relatively fresh from a snarl and Halifax. A cloudy amber brew, not surprisingly obviously unfiltered. Slightly low on the carbonation, head and lacings. Not surprising from the little growler.
Also not surprising that this is a tasty hop bomb. Clean pale malt underneath a wallop of juicy hops. Fresh tropical fruit and citrus are to the fore and assault the palate in such a good way.
Almost medium bodied, not for the faint of hops. Not much for bitterness, but huge on aromatics. This is for hop heads. Props to Unfiltered for not disappointing and living up to my hype. Highly recommended if you can get your fingers on this while fresh.

The pine is almost jarring in its extreme!
