Bottle to glass mug.
The appearance was a fairly dark brown close to black color in the glass and had more of a lighter brown note in the pour. Slim cap of an eggshell white foamy head that slides with the sips.
The aroma had shaved cocoa nibs, sweet ash/char, some dark chocolate sweetness and some dark toast.
The flavor seemed to balance extremely well to have a pure bittersweet dark to milk chocolatey tone. Mild aftertaste of dark chocolate toasted biscuits and a touch of metal. Crap, I thought we had something really good going here.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with some sessionability about it. Good carbonation with appropriate smoothness - some ashy/char grip. Finishes semi-dry with some cocoa powder and ash.
Overall, I really had higher hopes for this due to what others have told me but the aftertaste needs some work on.

A lower abv porter that has the mouthfeel of a smaller beer. The malts are real nice and the chocolate in it was nice. Very present without being overpowering.
