Hopfen: Hallertauer Herkules, Hallertauer Mittelfrüh / Kalt gehopft

Purchased at the Rewe Theile in Bamberg in September 2023, and drunk in the Camper Park beside the Purmistr Brewery and Restaurant in Pilsen, Czech Rep, a few days later.
L: Crystal clear, light golden body with a thin, bright white head. Small accounts of carbonation can be seen in the glass.
S: Sweet, almost corn-like malt.
T: Sweet, with moderate floral bitterness.
M: Smooth and mild.
O: At this point, I was two and a half weeks into my Bavarian beer odyssey and was starting to see a consistently sweet to the German Helles and Pils that I was drinking. It almost got to the point where I was craving some caramel malt and New World hops!
Cheers!

Half liter mug vom fass at the brewery in Bamberg! €3,90 in 2023 to me is a great price and often found throughout Bavaria. I think once it goes above €4 for a pint, Germans may start a revolution. Absolutely stellar beer, no surprise. Perfect malt bill for that quintessential German Pils flavor and drinkability. Quite fruity with a delicious hoppy finish and a crispness that you can only find in this style. Wow!
Update: bought a 0,5L bottle down the street from the brewery at the REWE with a date of 28.09.23. Just as good as I remember, a superb Pils. Slightly sweet and grassy malt bill. So smooth.

Mahr's Bräu "Pils"
2,80€/,5L vom fass Bayerischer Anstich at the brewery on 15 September 2017
Notes: Having enjoyed this beer from the bottle in the United States I can say that without question that it's better directly from the source. Now, does the Bayerischer Anstich, or gravity poured wooden barrel make a difference? I don't think so, but it probably affects the carbonation and mouthfeel.
Look: Crystal clear golden body beneath a full head of frothy white foam. Excellent head retention and lacing.
Smell: Grainy Pilsner malt with floral and spicy hops. Clean, fresh, and welcoming.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma exactly with the addition of a stiff bitterness and some short lingering, mild herbal hops along with the spicy hops in the finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp-then-smooth across the tongue.
Overall: Superbly balanced on the soft side, this is a remarkably quaffable Pils.

De Labirratorium. En copa hefe de Bavaria. En almuerzo, con arroz con gambas. Pilsener buena y refrescante, aunque me quedo con su versión baja en alcohol que proporciona la misma experiencia e incluso me pareció más aromatica

L- Pale gold clear, pours with thin white head.
S- A light richness and some grain.
T- It has a sort of quite muscular breadyness to it, that goes into a growing hoppy finish.
F- A few mouthfuls in and I'm noticing that it's really pretty hoppy-dry (in a trad-Pilsener sense), it's making that impression on the back of both my tongue and mouth; striking as a regular 'lager' wouldn't be as dry as this. It's well balanced, and very easy to drink, Carbonation in the mouth is good...
O- ... but what is standing out for me is that there is nothing really strikingly good, different+good, about it, Overall it's like it has quite a shy understated personality. Could I pick this from a blind-tasting of say five pilseners, I don't know? Whereas for a beer currently rated here as '88/Very Good' I'd expect a very clear character that I enjoy, ie a reason to look out for it again in future.
Bought from Selfridges, Oxford Street in London £3.30/330ml bottle. The lable is updated from that features above. It's now mostly grey with burgundy-red text for 'Mahrs Brau'.

From the 500 ml. bottle stamped 25=06-19. Sampled Jan 11, 2020
It looks like a Pilsener with its yellow pour, decent clarity, and bountiful white head.
The aroma is toasted bread, biscuit, and floral hops. Pretty clean it seems.
Light to medium body,
The taste is sweet, toasty and just like a Pilsener should be. Clean floral hop finish. Just good.

Pale yellow body, mildly cloudy; thick, sculpted head. Strong fruity aroma; peach and pear. Mild cereal grain base flavor infused with an estery backdrop; light bready sweetness. Medium-light body; smooth and soft on the palate; slightly warm; nice balance between low-key sweetness and light dryness.
The strong peach and pear aroma almost seemed off-putting, thinking it would bleed over to the flavor, but the taste was nothing but classic pilsner delicateness and subtlety, strong on the light malt character and nicely complemented with the hop bitterness and mild flavor. This is a most satisfying lager, and I look forward to drinking many more bottles of this beer as time goes on.

Poured from a 1 pint 9 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "bottled on" date 1-26-19.
APPEARANCE: pours a clear, light golden color with one-finger white head, excellent retention, the head slowly dissipated until a thick white cap remained, there is heavy lacing on the glass and higher than average carbonation, this is a beautiful beer.
SMELL: sweet bread and white crackers.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet bread and white crackers then a light kiss of hops.
PALATE: medium body for the style and higher carbonation.
OVERALL: this is a very good beer, I would buy this again no problem and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style.

Pours clear, gold in color with half inch head. Taste is grass, grain, and earthy hops. Clean, crisp, bitter, with moderate carbonation and medium bodied. Makes for a nice and sessionable German pils. Nice hot weather beer. Could have several.

Many thanks to Snowcrash000 for this bottle.
A - Light gold pour with beautiful clarity, a rocky white head, very sticky lacing, and steady moderate carbonation.
S - Crisp aroma: straw, lemon grass, crackery malt, some earthiness and bright lemon citrus. Aroma is dry and aromatic.
T - Crisp crackery honey malt from start to finish, lemon, grassy, earthy, some peppery spiciness, some floral, and ends with a citrus / floral bitterness that lingers. Very crisp with a bitter zing.
M - Medium body, lots of carbonated pricklies on the tongue, and very dry on the back of the tongue (and wet on the tip of the tongue).
O - This is a very enjoyable Pils and a recommended try if you enjoy this style.

Bottled on 080218. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass.
Clear light gold with substantial 2-finger white foamy head with average retention and solid lacing.
Aroma is somewhat soapy floral with lighter grainy Pils malt
Flavor is also slightly soapy with herbal, grassy, floral qualities and softer Pils maltiness. Moderate bitterness and clean from ester standpoint.
Feel is light-medium bodied with high carbonation and dry finish.
Decent German Pils with good feel but strange hop character. Wish it was fresher
