Pours a light amber gold color. Glowy. It's quite hazy from all that yeast, I assume. Yellowish white head. Puffs up nicely at first. Some lacing, decent retention. The aroma is all sweet, fresh grain. It smells like high quality malt. Not an off note to be found. Just light doughy flavors with a floral hop background. The taste is similar. There's a wonderful, bready malt flavor and a bit more hops than come across in the aroma. It's a bit drier than expected. It's got a good amount of sweet malt flavor, but it pretty much dries out by the finish, and the beer finishes clean and pretty crisp. Nice floral, grassy hop flavor throughout the taste. Some light fruitiness - apples, apricots, pears - but it really tastes more like straight, clean grain. Lots of flavor for the abv. Light mouthfeel but the flavor still fills out the palate. Carbonation seems a bit low, which probably helps with that creamy yet light feel. Very refreshing and easy to drink. I grabbed this bottle before it even hit the shelf - came off the truck at a local store two days ago - so it's pretty much as fresh as I'm going to find it around here, and it definitely shows. I'd love for more American breweries to produce beers like this. It's right and light, and there's not even a hint of an off note. Very tasty stuff.

500ml to mug.
Appearance - Copper-orange color with some haze., White head starts at a couple fingers, ends as a swirly cap and thick ring.
Smell - Grainy malts, bread crusts, toasty malts, some pale malt toffee-like sweetness, light herbal and fruity hop. Kinda straight-up lager but nice, no real off-flavors or adjunct noticeable.
Taste - Great mix of toasty, grainy, sweet caramel malt. Very clean taste. A decent hop fix of herbal/grassy/spicy. Finish of buttery crackers and light fruity tones.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and malty, somewhat big feeling but great body, crisp, medium carbonation.
Overall - Probably one of the best straight-up lagers I've ever had, very clean, great flavors and body, little hop bite. Freshness may be imperative for this kind of goodness.

500ml brown bottle purchased from Healthy Spirits in San Francisco. I love a good kellerbier, so I'm always a little on the hunt for more.
Pours a pleasantly hazed golden colour: not as cloudy as some, but definitely unapologetically unfiltered. Head forms a fine crest of white that is a little disappointing in that it settles down quickly, and doesn't sustain any lace. Carbonation is fine, and it looks as though there's a little weight to the body. Looks decent.
Nose is also fairly good. Muted leafy hop characters blend with a distinct husky grain note which makes the beer feel quite raw and organic. There's a touch too much sweetness to my mind: beyond the sweetness of the grain there's a suggestion of honey. But mostly it's fairly clear and pleasant. Quite good.
Taste is also pretty solid. The structure is mostly bready malts with husk overtones leaving a little bran and flour dankness on the palate. Hops are a little muted, although there is a touch of that slightly phenolic or astringent bite on the back that you only seem to get in a keller and not in a pils. There's a touch of the sweetness from the nose, but the bite on the back manages to deal with it fairly effectively.
Feel is smooth, perhaps a bit heavy without the hop character to create some crispness on the back.
Overall: it's fine. It's decent. It's a reasonably well crafted beer. But a keller can be truly great, and this misses some of the aspects that can do it.
