Picked up a growler at Breeze In/Lemon Creek location (probably should've gotten it from the Brewery as there's a couple questions that seem to evade me on this one), anyways, here goes:
Into a mug:
A: fairly dark brown colored body with a slight transparency to the body, no head whatsoever no matter how many times I pour it, no worries, its all good, barely any lacing
S: boy oh boy this is probably one of the most coffee forward English Brown Ales I've ever had (boy is that some strong coffee notes), however I do note some light nutty/chocolate trying to come out in the background
T: the coffee comes out pretty smooth for the most part, not really bitter, but just tastes slightly creamy kinda like there's the creamy/milky aspect that someone who drinks cream with their coffee might add, no aftertaste, dry finish
M: light, sessionable (would go great with its recommended food), carbonation is good for the style (English Brown Ale), and to me; the carbonation seems kinda smooth and somewhat creamy
O: hey ABC, good job, a coffee forward English Brown Ale, I like it, make this every year with Heritage (a local coffee company), I'll definitely get this again
Sidenote: I could be wrong, but I think this does not leave the city of Juneau.
Serving type: growler
