Appearance: 22 oz bottle with an encoded freshness date. Ruby color with a dense tan head. Nice open lacing and retention.
Smell: Sweet malt with some toasty floral scents. Light fruitiness to end.
Taste: Opens with a crisp malt flavor, bread and toasty. Floral with dry white grape flavor. The middle is sweet with floral hoppiness. A bit of apple and rose water. The bitterness doesn't kick in until the end, and even then it's mild. Some bolder toastiness rounds out the beer. The finish is sweet and clean with some sandiness.
Mouthfeel: Well carbonated, crisp and smooth with a delicate finish on the palate. Leaves a slighly sandy feeling in the mouth.
Drinkability: Nice and malty with some mild fruit and hop flavors. Very tasty and pleasant and would make a nice session beer.
