Thanks to "koopa" for making this available to me via trade.
Poured this beer from the bottle and a thick substantial head formed that was about 2 fingers thick and tan in color. Had a great deal of structure and retention. Beer was amber color with orange highlights. Some nice visible carbonation and no lacing.
Aroma was sweet, fruity with some graininess to it. Certainly a malt presence.
Taste was also on the malt side of the spectrum and began with a sweet fruity burst. This also had toffee/caramel notes. Again there was a fruity component towards the end before ending with an almost crisp ending. Nice balance between hops and malt, but definitely favoring the malt notes.
Mouth feel was quite creamy and silky. Medium bodied with subtle carbonation.
Drinkability is nice.
A good beer.
