Pours a healthy amber with some copper hues.
Good sized, bubbly head. I can hear the carbonation popping.
Aroma is mostly malt with a bit of sweetness and dark fruits.
Medium body, reasonably smooth. Hefty malt presence, some weak sweetness shines through as does a weak bread flavor. Light bitterness shows up in the end and leaves a weak sweet-bready aftertaste.
My first experience with the style, not especially exciting, but it sure is easy drinking. I could put a few away no problem.
