Appearance: Clear amber with initial 1.5 finger head. Dissipates to thin white crown.
Smell: Brown sugar, malt, and some spicy notes. Pretty faint aroma. EDIT: I smell nothing from bottle 4 of the 6pk.
Taste: Sweet (somewhat grainy) malt, a touch of citrus, some honey, and a mild hoppy finish. Some spicy notes and maybe a bit of wood are there as well.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a slight numbing effect. Nothing special.
Drinkability: I'm not too familiar with altbiers, but tastes like a spicier amber to me. There's a slight stinging sensation created by the spices and carbonation, but other than that this is an easy drink. Not the best flavor though...
