This amber ale pours with a nice deep amber color, however, the head does not stick around very long. The aroma is a blend of fruit fermentation aromas and some roasted malt notes and a bit of hop spiciness. The flavor is also a smooth blend of roasted malt and slight hop bitterness. Overall, this is a very decent amber, but there are better ones out there, especially on the Pacific Coast.

This particular brew has a magnificent dark amber appearance, though little or no head. The amber has a mild, sweet aroma, nothing special. The taste was disappointing for me quite watery in both mouthfeel and taste. Somewhat sweet at first, hints of citrus and carmel then fades to an okay alcoholic taste. I was expecting a bit more from this beer- I do enjoy my amber ales. I will finish this bottle but will not go back for seconds.
I would recommend to a girl.
