Appearance: Pours a clear rust-tinged amber color with a nice head that retains as a film but leaves some shards of lace behind
Smell: Toasted brown bread
Taste: Toasted brown bread, up front, with a bit of earthy and grassy hops arriving by mid-palate; an underlying sweet, chocolate dusting adds complexity; after the swallow, the toasty flavors return and linger through the finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Drinkability: A very nice alt - not sure why they call this an amber
Serving type: bottle
