A - Slightly more than a fingers worth of dense egg shell colored froth... A vibrant slightly glowing amber color... Moderate carbonation throughout... 100% translucent... A slight bit of lacing clings to the glass...
S - Fairly mundane... Pale malt wort... A slight nuttiness... A slight herbal spiciness...
T - Crystal malts... Lots of biscuit and bread... Diacytel... Toffee... Butter scotch... Light caramel... A slight hop bite...
M - Light to medium bodied... Brisk carbonation... Clean and crisp... Smooth...
D - A solid Altbier, a style that I wish had more representation in the craft beer market... Simple... Low ABV... Well executed... Rather quaffable... Easy drinking... Sessionable...

Alaskan Amber pours a reddish color with a nice decent size frothy head. There is a weak malty aroma. The taste is very light, has some nice biscuit flavors near the end, with a noticeable malty flavor. A little flat, and very weak flavors. Overall it has nice flavors, but its just too weak.

A: Burnt orange sienna. Not much of a head due to the non-aggressive pour.
S: Cashews, malt, light popcorn, sweetness.
T: Similar to the nose: Cashews, malt, dough, light popcorn, hint of toasty malt, rye bread, biscuit, and spice.
M: Medium light with a nice touch of carb on the back end. Leaves some coating in your mouth (not in a viscous way, but in a flavorful way).
O: Better than I expected, but not extravagant. This is a pleasant brew for relaxation and sessioning. Not the balls, but good regardless.
