A - Slightly more than a fingers worth of dense egg shell colored froth... A vibrant slightly glowing amber color... Moderate carbonation throughout... 100% translucent... A slight bit of lacing clings to the glass...
S - Fairly mundane... Pale malt wort... A slight nuttiness... A slight herbal spiciness...
T - Crystal malts... Lots of biscuit and bread... Diacytel... Toffee... Butter scotch... Light caramel... A slight hop bite...
M - Light to medium bodied... Brisk carbonation... Clean and crisp... Smooth...
D - A solid Altbier, a style that I wish had more representation in the craft beer market... Simple... Low ABV... Well executed... Rather quaffable... Easy drinking... Sessionable...

This particular brew has a magnificent dark amber appearance, though little or no head. The amber has a mild, sweet aroma, nothing special. The taste was disappointing for me quite watery in both mouthfeel and taste. Somewhat sweet at first, hints of citrus and carmel then fades to an okay alcoholic taste. I was expecting a bit more from this beer- I do enjoy my amber ales. I will finish this bottle but will not go back for seconds.
I would recommend to a girl.
