Light copper color with a thin creamy head fed by a lazy progression of tiny bubbles drifting up. The smell is malty with a hint of hops to tickle your nose. The taste is a pleasant malt with oak flavors and a sour finish. It has a nutty taste that makes me happy. The mouthfeel is silky and as smooth as the head promises. The drinkability is great. I've got easy access to it for the next 10 days while I'm in Alasks and I plan to take full advantage!

This particular brew has a magnificent dark amber appearance, though little or no head. The amber has a mild, sweet aroma, nothing special. The taste was disappointing for me quite watery in both mouthfeel and taste. Somewhat sweet at first, hints of citrus and carmel then fades to an okay alcoholic taste. I was expecting a bit more from this beer- I do enjoy my amber ales. I will finish this bottle but will not go back for seconds.
I would recommend to a girl.
