Appearance: The beer is a deep amber color. Eggshell white head that reduces and clings to the glass nicely.
Smell: Mild hops, pine, citrus, and lightly toasted malts are detectable. Not an overly impressive smell.
Taste: Malt, citrus, pine, and a bit of spiciness and and hops at the end. The spiciness is interesting to me, it gives this beer a different characteristic than other amber beers I've had. It must be the altbier style.
Mouthfeel: It's relatively light bodied, but I like the amount of carbonation it has. It goes down pretty smoothly and has a slightly bitter finish.
Drinkability: Very drinkable and refreshing. A good beer to sit down and watch some football with.
Serving type: on-tap
