Notes/Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well balanced.

12oz bottle.

Poured a medium brownish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of toffee, caramel, and a some toasted nuts. Tastes of toffee, toasted nuts, and caramel. With the low alcohol, would not make a bad session beer.

On tap at the Seatac airport today.

The beer pours an attractive copper color with OK head retention and minimal lacing. Don't get a lot on the nose, just some light sweet malt, giving the beer something of a baked apple aroma. Flavors replicate the nose in this simple, straight forward amber. There is moderate sweetness, with just a hint of hoppy bitterness and spice on the finish. Mouthfeel is pretty light, with the beer showing something of a watery finish. Drinkability is OK, except there really isn't enough flavor to keep things interested.

Still a nice enough beer, but really nothing to get excited about.
