A 12 oz bottle purchased on Liquid Solutions.
A: The pale ale is true to its name, a pale orange-yellow color and crystal clear. The head neared one finger on pour and quickly receded.
S: The aroma is a grainy, caramel malt body with a kiss of hoppy citrus notes.
T: The flavor screams session. A grainy malt body, slightly thin, emerges first, providing a bready palate. On top of that base is a citrus grapefruit hop element. Those hops are subtle, providing hints of their power throughout the sip. That hop presence really makes up for the slightly thin body that I tasted up front.
M: The grainy malts and light hops are very easy on the palate.
D: This is definitely a session beer, light yet flavorful. I wouldn't hesitate to belly up to a few more of these.
