Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into into a small pilsner glass, the Alaskan Pale Golden Ale (as it states on the label), is aptly named. There is active carbonation and a creamy, small but firm, long-lasting white head that leaves a medium amount of lace.
The aroma is nice and bright, pils malt and fresh bread dough and floral hops.
The taste is mild, sweet bread and malt, with a nice touch of diactly butteriness. This pale ale is a smooth, easy drinker, but nothing notable.
There is a medium light, effervescent mouthfeel, a tad thin but well suited for a small beer.
This has hot day drinkability, but is nothing special or so great tasting.
