Pours a nice orange slightly hazy color. With an agressive pour it yielded a nice inch or so head that has now disipated. Minimal lacing as well.
Not a terribly aromatic brew. Nice citrus and piney aromas.
Seems like a good amount of malt to contrast with the hops and spruce tips in the beer. I like the taste. The spruce tips add a nice flavor profile that does not dominate in some winter type beers.
This beer drinks nicely. It does not have too much or little carbonation for that matter. It is not sweet or offensive in anyway.
I could drink this beer often if it was offered in my local area. That being said, I think that this is a keeper and one worthy of seeking out if you like the Winter Warmer style.
