5 oz pour in a flight at Yard Houe San Diego.
This is a nice amber looking beer with decent lacing. The aroma is OK, with some citrusy notes but fairly subtle for an American IPA.
The palate is restrained for the style. There is decent aroma and bitterness, more flavor than a pale ale, but with the direct comparison to a good IPA in the same flight (Anderson Vally Hop Ottin) this brew's timidness was very apparent. Not bad, but nothing special.

Bottle received in trade from BeerKangaroo, thanks for the opportunity.
Pours a crystal clear deep golden color with a huge bubbly off white head that persists forever. Aromas of caramel and citrus dominate with hints of mineral to round it out. The flavor is a bit of pine, spice, and citrus with a solid bready caramel to back it up. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick resinous mineral mouthfeel. Nice easy drinker, a bit old school but certainly serviceable.
