Alaskan IPA is honey gold in color with a fruity, citrus aroma. An enticing blend of hops and our dry hopping process, in which hops are added directly to tanks during fermentation, give this brew a very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing hop finish.

A - pours a golden amber 2 finger head, minimal lacing (not sure how lacing affects taste buuut I thought i'd mention it nonetheless)
S - a little piney hops - aroma is subtle - likely not much dry hopping
T - citrusy hops, mellow bitterness with equal mellow malt backbone. This is tastes like a pale ale not a IPA but then again I would argue that that a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is more like an IPA but I digress
M - good carbonation for this style
O - well balanced maltiness with hop bitterness - a very drinkable brew. Definitely buy it again (I think this one ran $7.99 which is a good deal for a craft brew)

Very clear dark gold, finger of white head.

Smell is orange, pine, sweet citrus, bubble gum and not much in the way of malt.

Taste is lemon, grapefruit, nice malt backing, a bit of sweetness, finishes bitter and piney.

Mouthfeel is medium with a crisp carbonation.

I have been wanting to pick this up for a while, really unique, could easily session this one with the lower abv for the style, very refreshing.

A good IPA.

Light yellow body with a white head. High carbonation.

Smells like hops, citrus and fruity. Also, a faint pine smell.

Tastes like bitter hops and citrus with a piney finish.

Light and sort of fizzy.

Very delicious. I saw my big Alaskan friend drinking it so I thought I'd try it. Definately a good choice.

Served chilled into a fluted tulip.

Pours a hazy light orange color with an inch of airy white head that recedes leaving a light surface layer and lacing.

Aromas of sweet tropical fruits.

Tastes follow through the aroma with a hint of bubblegum and slight funk in the background. Curious if they used a saison yeast?

Light to medium bodied with a sweet finish and mild aftertaste.

Overall a good IPA with some interesting characterisitcs.

A - semi hazy golden orange, finger of head settled at a thin cover with plenty of lacing
S - pineapple citrus and light perfume, some grains, hint of bubble gum aroma
T - citrus and peppery hop notes up front, some crisp leafy greens, decent crackery malt backbone, bit of bubble gum sweetness
M - light and well carbonated, maybe just a tad thin, mild bitter finish
O - has a decent mix of hop flavours with just enough maltiness to keep it honest, this would be very easily sessionable

IPA smells of sweet grape fruit and pine. Taste is subtile and smooth with the hops at first and I can also taste a small hint of wheat and an dry bitterness at the end that lingers. This is a Decent IPA I could enjoy this on a summer night strumming the guitar on the back porch.
