Notes/Commercial Description:
Alaskan IPA is honey gold in color with a fruity, citrus aroma. An enticing blend of hops and our dry hopping process, in which hops are added directly to tanks during fermentation, give this brew a very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing hop finish.

A: Pale yellow with minor hints of copper. Rather clear but a bit of clouding. Pouts a nice finger of fluffy head that lingers well and leaves fair amount of sheets of lacing.

S: Nothing too overwhelming here, nice hoppy smell with a bit of roasted/smokey malts.

T: Seems to be a lighter IPA, nice grapefruit citrus note upfront. Good piney hops come through with a very mild bitterness to them.

M: Very light bodied with decvent carbonation. Was very crisp and light with very minimal bitterness to this.

O: Very light IPA, for those who may not be a fan of this style, this would be a good step into the wonderful world of bittnerss! Nothing overpowering but still a solid beer.

Appearance great golden color, looks crisp and vivid

Smell- Nice sweet citrus with honey floral

Taste very similar to how it smells. Nice citrus without being overpowering, also nice hop structure

mouthfeel is smooth full and nice. Great water seems to give it great structure to this beer.

Poured into a Sam Adams perfect pint. No easy to read dating.

A - Straw yellow or lighter in color. Big white bubbles that quickly dissipate to a small lingering trace of foam. No lacing to be found.

S - Almost all pine in the nose, maybe a trace of some lemony hops. Light malty sweetness is traceable.

T - Even though its very light in color, it has a nice clean maltiness to it. No real distinct hop flavors but a nice light bitter finish. A little on the malty side.

M - Light bodied and low carbonation. Dry and crisp finish.

O - A nice change of pace from the big and balanced hoppy/malty IPAs that are easy to find. I found this pleasant and sessionable for a hot summer day.

I was really surprised at how much I liked this beer, especially for the price I paid for a bomber-size bottle.

Very crisp, nicely hopped, but not overly so - I would definitely recommend this brew to someone looking for an IPA that also at the same time doesn't want to be blown away by hop-bombs.

Check it out! I intend to again, and soon!

A-Clear orange, two finger head with some lacing

S-Nice citrus, hops are present.

T-Citrus tones with mild bitterness. Sweet but not outstanding.

M-Light bodied with little carbonation.

O-A pleasant IPA, nothing stands out as great. Was a gift from family who went on an Alaskan cruise. Worth the try.

A: golden with a finger of white soap suds. These fall to a broken sheet of the same. Spotty lace and brilliant clarity. (4)
S: Almost a helles like malt profile with sweet wisps of vanilla. Grassy and piny hops over the top. Substandard for nose on an IPA (2)
T: Malt is forward and again, a bit sweet. The hops are bitter and grassy with some hints of resin. Simple. (3)
M: Thin with hi carb and wet finish. (3)
O: A middle of the road IPA. I like to drink it when I'm poor; at $2.50/bomber, it's hard to pass up. (3)

Golden color. Medium carbonation. Floral slightly citrus, malty nose. Dry mouthfeel. Lower end of head retention. Caramel malt taste sticks out along with citrus. Lingering bitterness.

Above average ipa but with so many excellent ipas to choose from I might not get this one again.
