A wonderful hazy golden-orange. Had a tiny bit o' bubbley head, but it soon lost its luster and vanished.
A slight sweet, malty smell, perhaps even a nuance of a perfumey-floral scent. Overall, to the most immediate senses of sight and smell, this beer ranks around "average".
The taste is phenomenal. The malts come through with sugar and honey notes. There is even a slight hint of a toffee-like flavor. The hops are subtle, and are a violet-like floral note. And oh so smooth!
And I believe this brew would make a great compliment to some spicy Thai food as well as bugers and dogs. What a versatile choice. This would be a crowd pleaser for both folks who appreciate beer and those yet introduced to the wonders of microbrews.
Smooth, easy sailing. Just like the Orca catching some wind on the bottle's label.
