Another bottle from my bro's visit to Alaska!
I am drinking a slightly chilled bottle in a pint glass. The beer pours a clear gold color with fizzy bleached white head of 1 cm that fades quickly to an edge layer. The quick fade seems to be typical of Alaskan beers.
Aroma is caramel and some spicy hops with some orange citrus notes, more sweet than rind. The first sip reveals a lite bodied fine fizzy/tingly carbonation. Flavor is sweet toffee and caramel with a bit of fruitiness as well. The sweetness is also a bit sugary like hard candy.
There is a biscuity yeast presence and a lite grassy dry hop note on the finish. This is a decent beer that would be really good on hot day. Just doesnt stack up for 40 degree November nite. If you see it in summer buy and drink then dont wait.

A-golden color with a smallish white head and good lacing
S-bread dough, light fruit, hint of yeast, light caramel
T-bready malt, light Kolsch yeast, little caramel, light spice
F-medium body with moderate carbonation, smooth
O-easy drinking but lacks any really good Kolsch flavors
