Appearance: Massive, dense and persistent snow-white head adorns a hazy golden brown body. Profuse and minute bubbles drift lazily to the surface. Thick tidemarks ring the glass walls.
Aroma: Malted wheat dominates the aroma, and decent portions of coriander and range peel are notable as well.
Taste: Opens with strong malted wheat, soon followed by coriander and orange rind, the former being more notable. AS the taste progresses, the wheat malt dominates. Late in the taste, a modest herbal hop bitterness appears, bringing the taste to a graceful close. The hop bitterness, while slight, lingers on past the end of the taste.
Mouth feel: Smooth and fairly full, with a burst of mildly stinging carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: A pleasing example of the Witbier style.
Presentation: Packaged in a stubby twelve-ounce brown glass bottle, sealed with a pry-off crown, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.
Serving type: bottle
