This bottle was courtesy of a fine bartender in Portand, Or
A fluffy whipped egg white head forms on the beer. The beer is a bright golden color with some brass tones. Some slight visible carbonation
Aroma, is bright and fresh. Pale biscuit malt, yeast tones and a touch of spice.
I am stunned by how mild the flavor is. Not a great deal of complexity or spice here. Some cracker flavors, then a burst of light fruit. A moment of coriander and some very light orange peel. But not much. Clearly some wheat tones and a crisp finish.
Light mouth feel and a scant touch of carbonation.
Drinkable as in "goes down easy" but NOT in the sense that you have to have more since it's so good.
Sure, I am glad I tried this, but I am more happy that I didn't have to pay for it.
Alaskan has better offerings.
