Pours an almost clear yellow-orange that seems a little dark for a wit (especially one called white). White head is small, short lived and leaves little behind.
Faint wheat aroma present. Smell shows no signs of orange peal or other wit spices.
Coriander and orange peal come out in the flavor but hide behind the wheat. Crisp aftertaste with a slight metallic bite that is slightly off-putting.
Alaskan has done better to me in the past, and I won't let this one turn me off of a solid brewery, but I say pass on the Alaskan White.
