Bomber poured into my large Gulden Draak tulip,
Alaskan White Ale is a chill-hazed gold with a small white head that leaves scattered lace.
Smell is pretty strong coriander at first, with more tropical fruit and orange coming out as it warms.
Taste is also mostly citrus spices, a bit grainy. Not really my style of wit's, but it seems to be the most common, particularly stateside..once I get used to that though it's pretty tasty, although there's a slightly soapy note.
Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied, with a decent creaminess that counters the bite of the spices.
Drinkability is just above average, but I still find it to be to spiced for my liking, and would prefer more fruit notes from the esters, although they definitely started to open up as it warmed. I just don't care for the bite that coriander provides...
