Nice foggy gold, maybe a tad too clear for the style.

Really dig the aroma on this one. I get a big bubblegum note that I really like and that you usually only see in hefes. Interesting yeast at work.

Yeast is nicely complimented by coriander and pretty subtle orange. Solid wheat malt.

Unfortunately thin finish lets this down. A shame since the flavours really appeal to me. Be great in the summer though.

Really like Alaskans advertising and logos, probably the only reason I get their regular line up, but yet to have this one.

It smells kind of strange, almost metallic. It;s grainy, a slight honey-like sweetness, perhaps from the yeast? But if someone told me this was Coors just from the smell I'd believe them.

Not much flavor with this one. Pretty watery. Very grainy, but in a bad sort of way. not getting much spiciness at all from the yeast, or any citrus. Perhaps the bottle is old, as bevmo likes to keep their old stock out until it sells. For a beer this a below average in flavor, for a wit, just average.

It seems like it is kind of getting their with the whole Wit thing, but this is just average and reminds me of a macro lager.

However, even with that macro flavor profile, it is much more crisp and and enjoyable. I'd definitely give this one another try at some point, and would not turn it down, especially with that cute picture on it, but I don't know, meh.

Pale yellow, a little clearer than I expected.

Wheat, yeast, and spices in the nose.

Wheat and belgian yeast, coriander, black pepper, vague orange note. Pretty nice.

Highly carbonated, crisp mouthfeel.

This was enjoyable, good flavors and lots of drinkability.

A: Yellow, clear, no head at all. This is clearly filtered, which doesn't really fit the style.

S: Some nice belgian yeast smells along with coriander. Smells pretty nice, a little too subtle.

T: If you carbonated water with orange zest and a dash of coriander, you'd get this beer. Almost no beer flavor to be had here, more like carbonated juice.

M: Thin and watery. There is nice carbonation, but that's about all for the positives.

O: Just not good. I've been working through an Alaskan 12 pack mixer and this is the worst by far. Can I trade the other one for another Amber please?!

A fizzy darker yellow looking beer. Not much of a head or lacing to be had.

Grainy sweetness, some straw and lightly spicy hops. Reminds me more of a kolsch.

Tastes more like a kolsch also. Light bready and malt grain sweetness. Noticeable hop presence that adds a light spice and earthiness. Touch of floral hops. Quite refreshing.

Light and crisp with appropriate carbonation.

The drinkability on this is exceptional. Would make a nice session beer. Other than that, nothing too special of a beer, but very enjoyable on this hot summer day.

A: Pours a cloudy/hazed golden orange color. A one finger white head forms at first, but recedes to nothing. Light lace.
S: Peppery spice, coriander, husky wheat. Grassy and citrus aromas. Very nice.
T: Follows the nose with lots of peppery spice, yeast, and coriander. Citrus, orange peal, and husky wheat. Everything works together and is very nice.
M/D: A medium body with high carbonation. Crisp and dry. Though a bit on the thin side. Very easy to drink. I have been known to put a few away with ease.

Something I have had on many occasions. A very nice Wit. An easy to drink everyday beer with plenty of character. Something I would recommend.
