Pours a hazy/clear orange color with half a finger of white head.
Smell is well, really citrusy! Orange, lemon, grapefruit and a little malt in the back really makes me excited to dive in and give it a taste.
And I dove in... The taste is no where near the smell, that said there is nothing wrong with it either, light citrus, light biscuit, light pine, light bread. I guess if one thing decribes the flavor it is light and sessionable.
Mouthfeel is my biggest problem, it is perfect imo, but the flavor needs to be amped up for this medium of a mouthfeel on a APA.
Well I grabbed it because I like the idea of a pale with Cascade, Centennial and Citra... With that said next time I will stick with my old standards... It is decent, the nose and the mouthfeel just out shine the taste WAY to much on this one.... I am ok with the smell being better then the taste but this much is just not what I am used to.

A: A medium golden beer with good clarity. The bottle has a date of "B082813" which I assume means it's best buy date is ten days from now.
S: a medium-strong citrus hops aroma with a bit of the Simcoe character. There is a light malt sweetness.
T: A Strong hops bitterness with a medium citrus hops flavor. Light malt flavor and very little malt sweetness. The balance is fairly bitter. The finish is dry with an aftertaste of citrus bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with a medium-strong level of carbonation.
O: An APA with good hops flavor and aroma but this bottle is getting toward the end of the shelf life. I'd love to get a fresh bottle and think it would show better, but as is it's a pretty good pale ale.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Sam Adams "Perfect Pint" glass.
Appearance: Pours a bright copper golden orange with a lot of rising bubbles. Huge five finger off white head with good retention. Leaves a lot of lacing clinging to the glass.
Smell: A bright citrus hop forward aroma with a solid biscuity malt backing. Citrus hops upfront with good hints of orange peel, grapefruit, tangerine, mango, and lemon. Some floral and earthy hop hints as well as some pine spice and grass. Solid bready malt backing with hints of biscuit, cracker, caramel, and yeast. A pretty solid West Coast style aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a bright hop forward pale ale taste with a good taste of citrus and biscuit. Citrus hops with notes of juicy orange, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, and mango. Earthy hop notes of grass and pine. Also some floral hop notes. Soft bready malt presence with a taste of biscuit, grains, crackers, caramel, and yeast. A pretty solid well balanced APA taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Nicely creamy, juicy, and drying.
Overall: A pretty solid take on the West Coast style American Pale Ale. Good citrus taste with a solid biscuit malt backing.

Appearance - Pours a semi-hazy golden orange with an off-white finger width head. Fair retention, resulting in a broken layer of microbubbles across the surface. Lacing is small and spotty at best.
Smell - Strong citrus and floral hop aroma. Moderate cracker, white bread and a faint peppery spice.
Taste - Orange citrus and spice bite at first sip before the malt malts come in, coming across like white bread; sweet, but fairly bland. More orange zest near the finish before a mild lemon peel flavor rides the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and dry, almost like a summer ale.
Overall - While the hop profile has some interesting character, the malt base is a bit of a letdown. That said I've had much, much worse. I don't think I'd buy this again, but I wouldn't turn it down if offered either.

Poured a finger of head on a hazy, medium straw colored body.
Great aroma. Bright grapefruit with a touch of pine.
The taste is wonderful. Moderate grapefruit bitterness with a bit of honey sweetness in the middle, finishes with moderate pine bitterness.
The texture is soft with just the right amount of fizz.

Appearance- Clear golden with a good white head.
Smell- hoppy, maybe slightly metallic?
Taste- hop forward, not too strong though. Balanced finish. Nice hop bitterness in the after tasted.
Mouthfeel- very smooth and crisp.
Overall- Pretty good pale ale. Hoppy without trying to be an IPA. I would definitely have another.
