This copper colored beer had a nice appearance with a bit of foam poured from the bottle. It was an easy drinking beer with pleasant characteristics such as limited bitterness in the finish and pleasant aromas and tastes throughout. The beer is a great example of an excellent pale ale. Drink it cold in fitting tradition of a free winter snow ride.

Appearance- Clear golden with a good white head.

Smell- hoppy, maybe slightly metallic?

Taste- hop forward, not too strong though. Balanced finish. Nice hop bitterness in the after tasted.

Mouthfeel- very smooth and crisp.

Overall- Pretty good pale ale. Hoppy without trying to be an IPA. I would definitely have another.

Pours a clear, copper color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of floral hops, hint of grass, slight sweet malt, yeast, hint of hops, and slight sugar. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Also, the feel is almost watery. Tastes of grass, floral hops, yeast, sweet malt, hint of earthy malt, and a hint of pale malt. Overall, weak body, aroma and body dominated by floral/grass notes, average feel, and decent appearance. Nothing special, about this beer, average APA.
