Nugget and Apollo hops added in the brew kettle provide a green, floral aroma and citrus hop base, while the later addition of Amarillo, Citra, and Centennial hops add notes of spicy grapefruit and orange - complimenting the resilient malt profile.

Features a clover honey colored body and a thick, sticky, white head. Orange and lemon hop aroma with a touch of malt sweetness in the nose. Hop bitterness dominates the taste; some citrus flavors; very mild malt flavor. Medium-heavy body; big carbonation feel; very dry finish.

Hop bitterness rules this DIPA. The intensity is rather overpowering and gives the beer an almost one-dimensional quality. Malt and grain character is greatly lacking in presence. Overall, the beer lacks balance and refinement but still quite drinkable if you're a glutton for bitterness.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pilsner hourglass. No bottling date that I could find.

A- Deep amber, good clarity, small slightly off-white head.

S- Sweet citrus and a light bit of mango, pineapple, some floral.

T- More sweet citrus, some pine, medium bitterness.

M- On the heavier side of medium.

O- Pretty decent, nice combination of citrus and floral with a light tropical touch.

Pours amber with a lasting foamy head that leaves a fair amount of lacing.

The smell is floral with citrus notes, caramel and some black pepper.

The taste is of pine and citrus (mainly orange/grapefruit), with some late peach. A touch of black pepper with an aspirin-like bitterness stays just ahead of caramelized bread in the finish.

The body could be fuller for the style, but the alcohol is covered well. It's also has a bit of fizz initially, but it settles.

Certainly not a "hop-bomb", it still has enough hops to keep it in IPA territory. It's not one of the greatest out there, but still it's good overall.
