From BeerAdvocate magazine Issue #68 (Spetember 2012):
LOOK: Mild haze, golden glow, three fingers of head
SMELL: Floral, pineapple, passion fruit, juicy, pungent, biscuity, yeast, mild caramel, spicy
TASTE: Very fresh, wildflowers, bitter, rustic, yeast, juicy, slightly pungent, orange pith, pineapple skin, melon, leafy, dried grass, slightly biscuity; long, lingering, hoppy finish
How could you not be drawn into the raw nature of this brew? It’s a bit “in your face” … a trait that has not changed over the years. Many layers for an IPA—we want to quaff this one back and dissect it at the same time. Our palates are happy to bask in this beer.
